The Falls Precinct centres on the location of the old waterfall and crossing in the Yarra River - Birrarung. It holds significant cultural value for the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and the broader Kulin Nations. 

The promenade begins in the Birrarung Marr precinct. Here, we celebrate Aboriginal culture and Melbourne’s unique ecology. In this section of the river you will be able to experience amazing Melbourne events and celebrations in a new, improved space.
